Designed during Dominic’s time at Studio Small and published by September Publishing, Brutal North captures the essence of Northern England’s brutalist and modernist architectural landmarks, making it a key visual and historical reference for architecture enthusiasts and professionals alike.

Above To complement the bold directional arrow featured on the cover, small, subtle arrows were thoughtfully incorporated into the captioning throughout the book. This motif extends beyond the captions, appearing in key areas such as the index, tying the entire design together and reinforcing the book’s identity.
